In connection with the expansion of our team, we are looking for

Senior Database Developer – 2 open positions

You’ll be working with a toolkit that includes:

• Relational (SQL) and non-relational (JSON) queries
• GIT/SVN

What you’ll need to succeed in this role

• 5+ years of experience working with relational databases
• Proven experience with relational databases, especially PostgreSQL
• Strong knowledge of SQL (DDL, DML, complex queries, joins, indexing)
• Solid experience in database design and relational data modeling
• Experience writing and optimizing database functions and procedures
• Experience with performance optimization and indexing strategies
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Adaptability and willingness to learn
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel

It’s a big plus if you also bring

• Experience with database migrations
• Experience with version control systems (Git/Svn)
• Experience working in Agile environments

In this role, you’ll be expected to

• Design, develop, and maintain complex relational database systems (primarily PostgreSQL)
• Translate complex business and technical requirements into efficient and scalable database structures (tables, views, indexes, functions, triggers, etc.)
• Design and implement advanced database objects
• Develop and optimize complex SQL queries and database functions
• Design and implement scalable relational data models
• Ensure high performance, availability, and data integrity
• Perform performance tuning, query optimization, indexing strategy design, and execution plan analysis
• Collaborate closely with developers, analysts, QA specialists, and other team members
